Every time we shop here we have a positive experience. I especially enjoy how clean and organized this location is! They support local business, have wonderful staff and there is a little bit of everything for everyone! Most importantly, they provide many gluten free options for my daughter. This 5 star rating is for the young man who worked in the seafood department on the evening of 2/8/24. My boyfriend & I were thoroughly impressed on the amount of seafood the fried platter provides but mostly how great it tasted, especially coming from a grocery store (no disrespect).
So I gave this a 4star due to the fact that I called 2 hours befor I need the party size pizzas, ordered 1/2 pep 1/2 cheese and a 6 topping.when I got there they said never received the order. So Bryan processed to call the Manger on duty Phil. I explained my concerns and he compt me the cheaper of the 2 pizzas. Thank you for your kindness Phil, now for Bryan that man know hiw to make pizza he was super friendly and assured me that they would be ready in 30 mins. Yes he absolutely had them ready thanks Bryan and for the girl who did not put my order up thank you too my pizza was made with perfection.
Close to Aldi's so I can get most of my groceries from both stores. Big Y has more variety and somewhat decent prices.
It also conveniently has a gas station and a free tire air pump.
Always friendly staff here. The store is clean and has what I need. They are a little more on the pricey side but with the way the store is maintained, it is worth the cost difference.
Im pissed. Im scanning my stuff at self checkout i feel someone BREATHING down my neck to the point i had to turn around because i felt VERY UNCOMFORTABLE and felt someone so close to me i turn around see the employee counting item by item. I did 2 separate transactions 1 by cash other by card IF YOURE GOING TO HAVE A SELF CHECK OUT dont breath down customers necks to the point where i am feeling uncomfortable shopping for groceries !!!!! Then ask me for proof of receipt theres about 6 registers or so . So you telling me 1 person needs to check every screen before the customers check out ??? Ridiculous. The fact that i personally know Allen, Phill- the night manager & debbie, makes me more upset, i am very disappointed in Big Y 🤬 what would i look like stealing in MY WORK SHIRT ? tht said exactly where i work! Wont be visiting this location again

Ohh did I mention that they have homemade Pizza and sushi
You can even get a fresh sandwich or stri fry or a fresh steak and cheese sandwiches

Did I also mentioned they have fresh seafood and look at those King crab legs
And Last but not lease fresh bread and dessert.
Very clean, spacious and amazing produce! It was a delight going from isle to isle. This was my first time in the store, I was on vacation and I would highly recommend this store! Bravo to the staff for having such a eye pleasing and very well stocked store!
